 SEE ICT Forum MISSION

The ICT Forum aims to forge a closer alliance between the Governments of the SEE region and the private sector community that will have capacity to improve the ICT related business environment and provide valuable input to the eSEE and bSEE initiatives.

The ICT Forum aims to:

  • Provide Private Sector Input to the:
    • RCC / eSEE / bSEE Initiatives
    • Regional Governments (10 SEE countries)
    • CeGD Program (Ljubljana, Slovenia) – www.cegd.eu
  • Provide a platform for collaboration among the SEE region ICT companies

 SEE ICT Forum Competitiveness Vision
  • SEE ICT Forum & Governments are important players in shaping the potential for upgrading the SEE ICT industry:
  • To manage perception as a “ SEE SILICONE VALLEY for some ICT Products & Services” by establishing Technology Parks in each SEE country (using the Technopolis Thessaloniki best practice !?),  that has to be recognized by the California Silicon Valley
  • Possibilities for co-operation:
    • Governmental incentives and support in development and marketing of local software products - vertical solutions for Tourism, Agribusiness, Wine, Apparel…
    • Governments’ support for development of products using the tools and under the umbrella of global software vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP…)
